Meditation -   Another way you can get to know your heart is through meditation.  A lot of people think that meditating is a complicated process.  Let me tell you it couldn`t be simpler.  You can begin with 10 minutes a day of simply sitting comfortably, uninterrupted while you close your eyes and attempt to free your mind of the clutter and constant noise we have in our heads all day long.

I do this by focusing on the air I`m breathing in and out.  With each deep inhale I picture the air going in a crystal clear air filled with positive energy and each exhale I imagine the air a little foggy as I release all the pent up stress and emotional toxins I`ve accumulated during the day.

After a few minutes of focusing on your breathing, you can then bring your attention to your heart.  How is it feeling today ?  Is it heavy or is it light ?  When you focus on your heart centre, really feel what your heart is feeling, it will automatically bring your attention to what needs healing or completion in order for it to be wholly processed and released.  If there is unresolved issues as current as that day or within the last week, your heart will show you what you've left undone and what you're still carrying around with you which is related to that incident or person which needs to be addressed, healed and released.

This is why I stress to everyone to meditate daily.  Our disappointments and frustrations mount on a daily basis inside our hearts and if we're not careful, we run the risk of being overwhelmed by them which results in us shutting down our hearts and shutting out the life we've always wanted.  These minor negative experiences can have a major impact on how we view and react to life, therefore it is crucial that we process these events in order to lighten the load we carry each day. Now, here's the trick,  if you meditate daily, really get in touch with what's in your heart,  you can eliminate that load all together.  Your heart will be free to simply love and be as it was meant to be, and to serve you as it was designed to do.  Let it do it's job.

Not only will meditating bring you closer to your hearts desires, it will also alleviate stress which is often caused by indecision. Indecision which will be greatly reduced because you've started consulting your heart on everything that is important to you.

Your heart not only has all the answers you will ever need, but it also has the ability to bring you that peace of mind you've longed for all your life.  That nagging thought of
'' is this all there is''  will be replaced with '' where have I been ''  once you realize that missing piece that needed to be found was you.
